When I started to read this book, it touched my heart right away. I could feel David's sincerity and emotions coming through in his written words. By dividing up the book telling his real life situations and then writing a poem about it, I could tell that he survived the challenges,learned from them, and was healed. By his example, I could reflect on my life's bumps and how I processed them getting to the point of being grateful for all that I have been through. I was so excited to share this book with some of my friends at a recent gathering, and the hostess wanted me to read parts of this book to the guests. The hostess, who is a clinical social worker, was so excited about what she heard that she's buying the book to share in her process group with the veterans. Thank you, David, for sharing your life with the world.

Just finished reading this book. Such an inspirational and insightful view on the aspect of change. Recently had some tough changes in my life and I found this book very therapeutic and healing. The author also has lovely poems that you can relate to. I strongly recommend.
David speaks from the heart and that love emanates from every page in this wonderful book. Every page is filled with insight and an authentic desire to share and help the reader see that change does happen, will happen and that it is a good thing no matter how it may appear. His poetry, prose, personal thoughts are given in a way that makes one feel loved and that all is okay. Even the cover gives off a vibration of joy and love! Thank you to David Best for sharing this book with the world for it is so needed at this time.
There are often times change enters your life and you can't help but wonder why the challenge. Or again more in this lifetime? And the answer is yes as it is to lead you. As to what, that is your journey to who you truly are. David's beautiful words express guidance to trust what is to come through as when it first arrives it hurts your feelings and you wonder why? Why me? But then why not you? As then you'll move through it to realize it was for a reason just for your growth. David helps you uncover different aspects that come from change which are all positive. He shares very personal experiences which help you relate and understand further that you are not alone. You are never alone. May David's message shine upon us all!
Life has taught me to accept and appreciate change in hindsight. But after reading this book I believe I can learn to love and be grateful for change in the present moment. I recommend this read to everyone who wants to live free.
